Charity or Good Cause - Registration Information.

As long as your business model is clearly 'not-for-profit' we would be pleased to add your organisation to our list of supported charities and good causes.

How Does It Work?

We have over 4,400 members, known as ‘friends of The Wisdom Trust’. Our fundraising is supported by their online activity and we are committed to ensuring they never put their hand in their pockets.

At least 50% of our income is set aside, in our Donations Fund, to be gifted to organisations like yours, to support their current work and to help expand their activities in the future.

Your organisation’s name will appear in a simple drop-down list on The Wisdom Trust’s website, alongside many other not-for-profit organisations, large and small, including Christian Aid, UNICEF, Friends of the Earth, The Prince’s Trust, Salvation Army, Royal British Legion, Childline, Cancer Research UK, British Heart Foundation, Help The Aged and The Anthony Nolan Trust.

Every day each of our friends can vote for any two organisations on our list they want to support. Each quarter the votes are counted, and the percentage of votes each charity has accumulated becomes the percentage of the Donations Fund they receive! This is entirely cost-free.

You can promote The Wisdom Trust to your own staff and supporters, who can then register as friends of The Wisdom Trust and vote for your organisation, to increase its share of the members' votes.

Plus, when any of your own staff or supporters (or their families) shop online through The Wisdom Trust shopping mall, or even when they're awarded credits through our online education programs, further sums will accumulate on your organisation's Wisdom Trust account, over and above any money which comes to you as a result of the members' vote.

The Wisdom Trust isn’t only about fundraising. Our main charitable objective is to deliver a wider awareness about the important global issues of poverty, the environment and world health. We empower our friends through access to education, fundraising and volunteer programmes that run at absolutely no cost to them meaning that whether they have 5 minutes or 5 hours, there is always something they can do to ‘make a difference’.

We currently offer carbon footprint calculators, lifestyle tips, an ethical shopping mall, grants, awareness quizzes, events planning and a loyalty points scheme that links in with all our programmes, meaning anything our friends do to help the global community, also benefits them!

We work to engage our friends with the work of organisations like yours, so if you also email a short description of your work to us, you could soon be featured as our ‘charity of the week’. This appears on our website and newsletter, with a link to your website so members can find out more about you and even choose to support you through our Donations Fund.
