Becoming One Of The Wisdom Trust's Supported Organisations
- Information, Terms & Conditions.

The Wisdom Trust Adds A New Dimension To Your Fundraising Campaigns.

As an official or officer responsible for fundraising for a charity, good cause, local community project or for any other not-for-profit organisation, you probably spend a lot of time trying to find new innovative ways to raise money for your funds. The Wisdom Trust, through our unique fundraising program, can help you raise potentially quite large amounts of extra money, with little or no effort on your part.

The Wisdom Trust's Quarterly Donations To Other Charities & Organisations.

The Wisdom Trust raises money for its own funds in a number of ways, as any charity does. For example, we apply for a range of grants and bursaries from various grant-making trusts and foundations, we organise fundraising events and, of course, we are always happy to receive donations. But we also operate our own online shopping mall, which generates money for our fund, when any of our members, or other website visitors, buy something from one of our online partners or even when they shop online or participate in an online auction, on eBay for example.

A large proportion of our income, from all sources, is set aside to be used in the expansion and enhancement our own education programs about poverty, the environment and world health. This is to help fulfill our own charitable objective to create a wider awareness about these issues.

But one half of all our income is set aside in a special fund (The Wisdom Trust donations fund) for donations to other charities and not-for-profit organisations. All our supported charities are elegible for a donation from our donations fund each quarter, but the actualy amount set aside for each individual organisation is decided through a special online poll of all our members over each three month donations period.

Every member - the friends of The Wisdom Trust - has the right to vote once each day for the two organisations they'd most like us to make donations to. Some members, by accumulating Fundraising Credits (FC's) through their participation in our online education programs, can earn the right to extra votes each day and to gain a larger influence with reagrd to which organisations receive donations, and how much.

At the end of each three month period, the money is divided up in direct proportion to each organisation's share of the vote. So a charity with 10% of the vote get 10% of our donations fund that quarter.

So all you need to do is to get your own charity, good cause or other non-profit organisation registered, free-of-charge, on The Wisdom Trust website, then encourage people to vote for you. Better still, get your own staff and supporters (and as many of their friends and family) registered as friends of the Wisdom Trust so they can vote for you. Then just sit back and wait to receieve your guaranteed donation from our fund every three months.

How A Charity Can Make Sure Their Donations Are As Large As Possible.

Well, we can help you bring together a team comprising of 1000s of fundraisers, along with more than 1000 corporate sponsors (including AskJeeves, Amazon, Tesco, Lycos, Walmart, Lastminute.com & eBay) to raise huge sums of money for your funds.

Quite simply, once you're signed-up as one of our registered charities, you can introduce The Wisdom Trust to your friends, members, staff and supporters. They then also register with us (free of charge) as a friend of The Wisdom Trust and list your charity as their sponsor on the registraion form. Or you can email them a special link (unique to each member - charities and individuals - and available through The Wisdom Trust website, which, when they click on it to register, will tell us automatically that they were introduced by you, or even, in some cases, when one of your own supporters emails their own unique link to their friends and family, by someone introduced by you.

Then, first of all, they can log in and vote for your charity or good causes every day (or as often as they can) in our online members' poll.

They can also use our online educational programs to learn more about poverty, the environment and world health - and take advantage of the hundreds of simple eco-tips and health-tips available through the website. By doing so, they'll be awarded Fundraising Credits (FC's) and win the right to more votes each day. They get 1 extra vote for every 10 FC's they're awarded for using our education programs. So the more they learn, the more influence they can have on which charities get donations from our donations fund.

Also, when they use our shopping mall to buy something online, they'll get awarded extra FC's, plus they'll get a small cashback allocated to them, for the benefit of the charities and good causes they choose to support.

And the more FC's they accumulate, the more additional money (over and above any donations from our donations fund) they'll be able to claim from our special Members' Fund, also on behalf of their own favourite charities and good causes.

We'll set up a special Wisdom 'charity fund' in your charity's name (within the Members' Fund), in which will accumulate small amounts every time your friends, members, staff or supporters (and all their families and friends) use The Wisdom Trust website - for education, or for shopping etc. That's free money for your funds with absolutely no effort whatsoever, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

So, as you can see, it's so easy... All that's required is for your members and supporters to register themselves with us and put your organisation as their sponsor. Then every time they log in and use The Wisdom Trust, primarily for education but also for shopping when they need to, we know they're raising money for you. Thus any FC's they accumulate or any cashbacks they're awarded from their online shopping, will benefit your special Wisdom 'charity fund' automatically.

We can also feature your charity as our 'Charity Of The Week' one week, so that more of our members who don't know you or don't know exactly what you do, will be able to learn more about you and possibly even vote for you each day.

Introducing Other Charities, Organisations and Corporate Sponsors.

If you have contact with other charities or organisations (schools, church groups, local social clubs etc.) in your local community or elsewhere, you could introduce them to The Wisdom Trust, so they can get listed as one of our registered charities and good causes to raise money for their funds too (in the same way as detailed above). But because you introduced them, they'd be part of your organisation's fundraising network and therefore, anything their own supporters do to help raise money for their fund, will automatically benefit your fund as well.

The same applies to any of your own corporate sponsors. They could sign up with us - with you as their sponsor - then get all their staff and customers involved as friends of The Wisdom Trust to help raise even more money for your funds - and to vote for you every day in our quarterly members' poll.

Of course, your own friends, members, staff and supporters may have another good cause or charity (such as a school, church or sports club, for example), which is close to their heart, and they may wish to raise money for that as well.

They can introduce that organisation to The Wisdom Trust, with themselves (the individual member) as their sponsor, so that the new organisation will still be part of your own fundraising network, indirectly benefitting your own Wisdom 'charity fund' from the efforts of their supporters.

In this way, we'll be able to help our members raise money for as many worthy charities and good causes as possible.

How Much Can Be Raised?

The amounts involved are not huge, individually, but collectively they could up to a very substantial sum. And the size of our available donations fund each quarter is growing all the time.

For example if 1% of the vote now was worth less than £100 from the donations fund, by the end of the year, that same 1% could be worth over £1,000.

And each visit to The Wisdom Trust website by any of your members or supporters, as long as they use our education programs to earn FC's, could generate a few extra pence for for your fund every time, for every one of your own staff, supporters.

But if, on any visit, they use the Wisdom Trust Shopping Mall to buy anything, your organisation's Wisdom 'charity fund' will get a further amount automatically, through the cashback scheme.

Yes, all these amount, as we said, are very small, but with many people using the facilities every day, the total will grow to something more worthwhile.

Not Only That.....

But the really interesting aspect of The Wisdom Trust fund allocation program is that because we can track the lines of introduction back from every single member who join us, should any of your own members, staff or supporters introduce any of their friends, family or colleagues to The Wisdom Trust, your own fund will benefit whenever those new friends and family members visit The Wisdom Trust website too. The same goes for those friends' friends, and their friends and so on, down through a minimum of eight generations of friends, family and colleagues.

In this way, any charity or good cause, anywhere in the world, could, with very little effort, accumulate a fundraising network of hundreds or thousands of people who regularly use the online educational tools and website services available through the The Wisdom Trust website, each of them maybe raising money for their own particular favourite charities and good causes, but all bringing benefit to the charity or good cause at the top of that particular fundraising network.

The Potential Is Huge.

So, as you can see, the potential for your own fundraising efforts is enormous. To get started, either go straight ahead and register your charity or good cause, (it's free-of-charge and you'll just need an email address to register) then promote the idea to your members and supporters. Or, if you have any questions (or even if you'd like some help to set up a fundraising program for your charity or good cause), you can email us at enquiries@wisdom4all.co.uk .

We'll be delighted to help you set up your program and we could even organise a multimedia presentation to a meeting of your members and supporters, to show them how to get started.

If you were introduced to Wisdom For All by another charity or good cause, or even by an individual, do remember to put their appropriate email address as your sponsor, when you register.

And once you're registered, drop us a brief email anyway, so we can enter you in our list of registered charities and good causes.

Terms & Conditions.

To be listed on The Wisdom Trust website as one of our supported organisations, an organisation should be either a registered charity or a local good cause, or any other organisation, whose business model is clearly not-for-profit. That organisation can be based in the UK or in any other part of the world.

An officer or representative of that organisation should complete the two online forms on The Wisdom Trust website - one to create a login profile (email address and password) and a second to submit the organisation's details (organisation name, charity number - if applicable, contact details, website address, and a brief outline of the organisation's activities - two or three paragraphs).

Once registered, The Wisdom Trust will list an organisation alongside all the other charities and good causes on our list so far, either in alphabetical order or in the order of their share of the members' vote so far this quarter. If a website address was submitted on registration, the organisation's name in each listing will be a link to their website.

The Wisdom Trust makes no charge for registration. Neither will it charge any fees of any kind, at any time, to any of the listed organisations, nor will any sum be deducted from any amounts raised for an organisation.

An organisation will be able to email a unique link to its own staff and supporters to allow them the opportunity to register, free of charge, as friends of The Wisdom Trust, in order for those staff and supporters to vote online for that organisation, and shop online through The Wisdom Trust shopping mall, for the benefit of that organisation.

The Wisdom Trust sets aside 50% of all its income in The Wisdom Trust donations fund, to be donated to all our listed organisations, based on their share of the quarterly members' vote.

The Wisdom Trust also sets aside 20% of its income in The Wisdom Trust members fund, to be used to fund our special education incentive program, through which members are awarded Fundraising Credits (FC's) when they use our online education programs.

Fundraising Credits add value to the fund set aside for those organisations supported by the members to whom they're awarded. Members can also be awarded Fundraising Credits when they choose to help our fundraising efforts by shopping online through The Wisdom Trust shopping mall, and when they introduce their friends, family and colleagues, and other organisations.

The Wisdom Trust maintains up-to-date records of all activity through our website and of all sums allocated to any of our listed organisations. This information, and the current state of the members' quarterly vote, is available for inspection at any time through The Wisdom Trust website.
